Welcome to the Peeke Family History Page

This web site has been prepared by Thomas Peeke with input from Bruce Peeke on the Peeke family history. There is a link to a paper of his at the side. We are both descended from George Robert Peeke and his wife Ellen [Tucker] and the picture above shows Ellen with their one daughter, five surviving sons, two of their wives and two grand-children taken in about 1907, over ten years after George Robert's death.

We are all descended from Jacob Peeke from Halwell, Devon, England and you can see a descendent tree of Jacob Peeke attached to this page. My branch of the Peeke family has moved from Devon, first to Essex and then to Oxfordshire but Bruce's returned to Devon after a few years in Australia.
