Welcome to the Homepage of the Spear/e Family of Devon Project.

I have made contact with people all around the world with the surname Spear/e and one thing a lot of them have in common is their Devon Ancestry.  The Spear/e family has been in Devon for Hundreds of years and over the years the spelling of the surname has varied.

The Purpose of this project is to make as much information as possible available to people online about the Spear/e family information from the Birth, Death & Marriage Registers, Parish Records, Probate Records etc.  Hopefully this will enable us to build a wider picture of the Spear/e families origins and link together branches of the Spear/e family not currently linked.
